Our volunteer group of collegiate athletes and clinic is led by Isabella Slape, a collegiate softball player, from El Paso TX. While in high school Slape played for the Flores/Estrada El Paso Firecrackers and was recognized as a 1st Team 6A all-district third basemen and district 2-5A "Offensive Player of the Year". Isabella graduated top of her class at Bel Air High School and continued her athletic and academic career at the D1 level. Isabella was chosen to be a part of the USA Travel Softball Team where she traveled to Havana Cuba and is the El Paso ambassador for ELLA.  Isabella hopes to help advocate and empower other Latina athletes like herself by giving them resources and opportunities to thrive!

Give a warm El Paso welcome to Alexis Castañeda she is a talented senior at Monmouth University, originally from Chicago Illinois where she excelled academically and athletically at Lincoln Way West High School. As an AP scholar, she brings a sharp mind to the field and embodies the qualities of a true teammate. Alexis has made her mark in the outfield at Monmouth, utilizing her speed and knowledge of the game to her advantage. Her talent on the softball field is simply undeniable and her love for the game is absolutely infectious. We're absolutely thrilled to have her on board and can't wait for her to meet the talented softball players in El Paso!

Meet Aylani Ottley, a talented athlete and dedicated student. As an Austin HS alum, Lani earned numerous accolades, including being named EPISD 2019 first team all district, 2019 new comer of the year, 2021 first team all district, 2021 co offensive player of the year, and 2021 2nd team all city. Currently a senior at D1 Southern University and A&M College, Aylani is pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. On the field she is a skilled infielder and switch hitter, and led their team in steals during the 23-24 season.

Meet our star player Michelle Diaz who has been recognized as 1st team all district not once, not twice, but three times! Shelly is currently an electrical and computer engineering at EPCC, this talented athlete has also been honored as a WJCAC All Conference Team Honorable Mention. We are beyond proud to have her on our team and can't wait to see what she'll achieve next! Shelly's infectious personality can light up any room and her passion the game is simply unmatched. She's not just a great athlete, but also an incredible person and a true leader both on and off the field.

Get ready to meet Jazlyn Gomez, a superstar softball player with an incredible record! She was a key player in the Champs and Bi-District Champs of 2019, and was recognized as Honorable Mention and Second Team All District as a 2nd Baseman. And that's not all - Lone Star Preps named her the Top Baseman of 2022! Jazlyn is a transfer sophomore who's eager to find a new school to continue her academic and athletic journey. Jazlyn skills on the field are undeniable, and her leadership qualities make her a valuable asset to any team. She is not only a great player, but also a great teammate, always and supporting her fellow athletes. Let's give her a warm welcome to the team! 

Meet Victoria Owens in high school player she was recognized by the El Paso Men's Fastpitch Hall of Fame Committee! This superstar athlete dominated the field, earning1-6A All 2nd Team honors not once, but twice - during Tori's freshman and senior years - and 1-6A All District 1st Team recognition in her junior year. Tori's hard work and talent even led her team to the 2023 Division 2 Regionals with LCU before transferring to Sul Ross State University. Let's give it up for this amazing player! Tori is a talented athlete and leader who has excelled in all aspects of the game! We are honored to have her apart of the volunteer group of Collegiate athletes.

Peyton Farris is a talented athlete who has achieved great success in her previous academic and athletic pursuits. She was part of the national championship team for the NAIA while attending Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, where she also received the Champions of Character award. In high school, she was recognized for her pitching and hitting skills, receiving awards such as Pitcher of the Year, FCA Women Athlete of the Year, and 4-time First Team. Peyton is now excited to continue her academic and athletic career at Framingham State University in Massachusetts, where she hopes to share her talent and outlook with others.

Allow me to introduce you to Ajia Richard, a remarkable individual who has achieved great success both on and the field. Hailing  from Silver City, NM, Ajia is a star athlete and scholar who graduated from Silver High School in 2019. Asia was recognized as a Max Preps All American and a UTEP 3x CUSA Academic Medalist. Currently pursuing an Elementary Education major, Ajia continues to excel academically as a member of the 2024 CUSA Academic Team and 2024 All CUSA First Team, as well as being named to the NFCA All-South Region Second Team. With a GPA of 3.85, Ajia is truly a well-rounded individual who is sure to make a positive impact in whatever they pursue.

 Last but not least, let me introduce Emma Martinez! Emma is a passionate and dedicated player born and raised in El Paso, Texas. Emma attended Eastwood High School, where she discovered her true love for softball and has taken the love of the game to the next level. Currently, Emma is playing softball at El Paso Community College (EPCC) and is planning to transfer to a four-year college to continue her education. She studying speech pathology and psychology, with a dream of working with kids. Emma's passion for helping children is what drives her to pursue her education and career goals. Emma's talent on the field has not gone unnoticed. She has played second and first base for several years and has received numerous accolades for her performance. Emma has received honorable mention and 2nd team all-district awards, which are a testament to her hard work and dedication to the sport.She has developed a deep appreciation for the sport and the values it instills, such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Emma's passion for softball is contagious, and she hopes to inspire others to pursue their dreams and passions, just as she has.
